James Alpe design and build removable dog pods for all types of vehicles including estate cars, 4X4’s and commercial vehicles. We can supply pretty much any shape or size of removable pod, alternatively we can custom build your own dog pod for your specific vehicle.
We have lots of experience in designing and building different types of animal transportation and the dog pod is widely used by many different organisations needing to safely transport animals. Our pods are designed to make maximum use of the available space within the vehicle.
As a rule our dog pods are built to DEFRA and RSPCA guidelines. This means that the kennels are built to specific sizes, the kennels have adequate ventilation, two sets of doors if required (rear and front facing emergency doors) and a removable centre partition for different sized dogs.
We have worked closely with many different organisations in developing a perfect solution which is now available ‘off the shelf’. We can also build pods to customer specification taking into account smaller vehicles with less room to play with.
We can add specific features such as electronic emergency doors, air-conditioning, temperature sensors, rubber matting, feeding bowls, lighting, cameras etc.
